at unions come of storm
deep within your eyes
in tempests we are born
and cast unto such vast landscapes
as lovers starved for grace
discovering all the foreign shapes
like smiles upon the face
your elegance so humbly hewn
o'er all that you bestow
your smile an other worldly tune
that leaves my soul aglow
i promised at the advent dear
that you would know my heart
amid some nights so fraught with fear
my spirit torn apart
one thing to say, one thing to do
but i would have it all
becoming one of me and you
beyond these abstract walls
as elements unto our own
we take the sky anew
from words to acts the seeds are sown
to render grace so true
across the pallid paradigm
sequentially become
of heart unto resounding chimes
like flowers unto sun
sing for all the time we've lost
e'er asking what will be
i'll bleed whatever mortal cost
to unlock the you and me
incremental render rare
the promise once pronounced
without you there's just despair
and hope again renounced
