the sun creeps up between your legs
the dawn is all there is
as journey for the seeker begs
so much more than this
draped in dire shrouds of earth
unto desert yet again
deadened souls require rebirth
whilst the demons here remain
tap the skull to change outlook
your spirit shudders free
from all the pain your body took
in soft soliloquy
cirrus clouds surround my heart
there's not much left to say
these bodies tear us all apart
just wish that you would stay
upon a sunlit vineyard trail
a song upon a swing
distant devils ever wail
as muted angels sing
of centre and self worth
amid these numbered days
and trust is at a dearth
we sometimes lose our way
unto sun just turn your eyes
a tear will come in time
for rapid ever moving skies
and mountains we must climb
to be...
